French Armed Forces Min Lecornu pays visit to Salamina shipyards

French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu paid a visit to the Salamina island shipyards on Monday (April 14), accompanied by Greek National Defense officials, the French ambassador, and French embassy attaches.

According to a statement by the shipyards, Lecornu was given a tour of the premises, particularly where the sections (Blocks) of the French-made Belharra frigates are constructed at Salamina as of 2023. The Salamina shipyards have already delivered to France the Blocks for the third Greek frigate, 'Formion', to be launched on June 4 at Laurient, France.
