Dendias on signing of MoC with AADE: The aim is to combat corruption and ensure transparency

National Defence Minister Nikos Dendias and the president of the Independent Authority for Public Revenues (AADE) Giorgos Pitsilis on Tuesday signed a memorandum of cooperation between the defence ministry's Internal Affairs Service and the Internal Affairs Directorate of AADE.
"The purpose of the memorandum is the cooperation between the two bodies on matters of asset control and the enhancement of the effectiveness of controls," said Dendias in a post on "X".
"The aim is also to combat corruption and ensure transparency, as well as to protect the financial interests of the State in the execution of contracts for armament programmes," he added.
