Foreign Ministry's Skalkos represents Greece at European meeting on EU-US trade relations

Greek Foreign Affairs Secretary General for International Economic Relations & Extroversion Dimitris Skalkos represented Greece at the EU's extraordinary Council of Foreign Affairs on trade in Luxembourg on Monday.

Ministers held a discussion on the EU's trade relations with the United States and with China.

Skalkos called for a cool-headed and realistic approach to the American tariffs, and underlined that the European Union needed to participate in a creative dialog with the US, as well as for EU member states to keep a unified stance in order to protect their economic interests in the best way possible.
