Education Min Zacharaki meets with Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria

The Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, Sophia Zacharaki, met on Wednesday with the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa Theodore II. 

The meeting focused on issues related to diaspora education and support for the Patriarchate of Alexandria. According to a ministry statement, the discussion took place in a "very warm atmosphere of understanding."

In addition, Zacharaki informed the Patriarch Theodore in detail about the establishment of positions for priests of the diaspora. For his part, the Patriarch Theodore invited Zacharaki to visit the Patriarchate of Alexandria and the diaspora schools.
