All educational federations to participate in the upcoming strike on April 9

The educational federations will participate in the strike that will take place on 9 April 2025 to highlight the problems facing education in Greece, as they said at a press conference on Wednesday.

The federations' main demands include the labour and economic upgrading of teachers, an end to disciplinary and prosecution cases against them, increased funding for schools, and a reduction in the number of students per classroom. 

The representatives of the federations also asked to meet with the new leadership of the Ministry of Education.
