Karalis wins silver at World Athletics Indoor Championships; sets new national record

Greek pole vault champion Emmanouil Karalis won silver at the World Athletics Indoor Championships held in Nanjing, China, on Saturday, breaking the national record.
Karalis finished second behind Swedish Armand Duplantis, clearing 6.05 meters. 
In his statements to public broadcaster ERT, Karalis stated that he is having the best season of his career and quoted the words of his opponents and Duplantis himself, who admitted that the absolute star of the event was pressured for the first time.
