The government tried to find the balance between growth and social measures, Tsakalotos says

"The government tried to find the right balance between growth measures and measures to support the society," Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos said on Saturday in an interview with 'Efimerida Ton Syntakton.'
He admitted that the government did not manage to improve the citizens' life as much as it would like to do. However, he underlined that the government did not ingore the middle class and its quality of life but it was forced to move in a strict fiscal area with significant restrictions.
Tsakalotos asked the citizens to judge the first years of the government with objectivity and be strict in the implementation of the government priorities in the period after exiting the memoranda in August 2018.
