Boat with migrants located south of Gavdos

A boat with 49 irregular migrants on board was spotted early Wednesday, 26 nautical miles south of the island of Gavdos.
A Coast Guard vessel rescued the migrants and transferred them to Chora Sfakion, Crete, where they will be temporary housed.
