Very high fire risk in Crete, North and South Aegean Regions on Friday

Very high fire risk (category 4) is forecast for Friday in areas of Crete, North Aegean and South Aegean regions, according to the Fire Risk Forecast Map issued by the Ministry of Climate Crisis & Civil Protection.
Specifically, the very high fire risk forecast for tomorrow includes the following areas:
- North Aegean Region: Samos, Ikaria
- South Aegean Region: Kalymnos, Kos, Rhodes, Karpathos
- Region of Crete: Heraklion, Lassithi
General Secretariat of Civil Protection (civilprotection.gov.gr) has informed the relevant state agencies, as well as the regions and municipalities of these areas, to ensure they are in a state of heightened civil protection readiness.
