METKA EGN signs 200-mln-euro contract with Talasol Solar

Mytilineos Group on Tuesdsay announced that its subsidiary, METKA EGN, has signed a contract with Talasol Solar S.L.U., a subsidiary of Ellomay Capital Ltd., to set up a large-scale solar power plant, with an installed capacity of 300 MWp in the municipality of Talav?n, C?ceres, Spain.
The signing of the agreement took place on Monday, 18 June at Mytilineos headquarters in Athens.
The scope includes the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the Talasol Project and the ancillary facilities for injecting power into the grid, including a 400 kV step-up substation, a high voltage interconnection line to the point of connection to the grid and provide up to two years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services. The contract value is just under 200 millon euros.
The selection of METKA EGN for this project consolidates the company’s position as an international leader in providing competitive EPC solutions for the global solar industry.
