Cabinet meeting approves bills in meeting focused on railroad safety, upgrade

The cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Monday focused on the safety and upgrading of Greek railroads, in the context of a bill presented by the Infrastructure & Transport Ministry.

The cabinet members also heard the presentations of and approved the following bills: on legislative initiatives to overhaul the National Customs Code (introduced by the National Economy Ministry); the reform of the Civil Procedure Code (Justice Ministry); and the incorporation into Greek law of an EU Directive on the resilience of critical entitities (Citizen Protection Ministry). In addition, a bill was presented by the Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Ministry containing various proposed regulations.
