The procedure for ceasing operations for professionals and businesses is simplified with the publication of a relevant decision by the Governor of the Independent Public Revenue Authority Giorgos Pitsilis. 
The procedure, which is digitally implemented from November 2024 is further simplified and enhanced with new features. Already to date, more than 36,000 business closing requests have been completed, of which approximately 34,000 are fully automated.
