Defence Exhibition Athens 2025 to begin on May 6

Defence Exhibition Athens 2025 (DEFEA) will be held in Athens from 6 to 8 May, at the Metropolitan Expo Athens, under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defence. DEFEA 2025, as announced by the exhibition organiser, will welcome 436 exhibitors from 37 countries, 18 national pavilions, and 98 official delegations from 45 countries.
Companies will showcase the latest innovations and technological developments in defence and security on land, sea, and air, as well as in cyberspace and space systems. At DEFEA 2025 the public will have the opportunity to see helicopters, tanks, armoured vehicles, multiple launchers, artillery systems, communication equipment, small arms, ammunition of various types and calibres, guided missiles, and strategic weapons. The "Achilles' Shield", featuring a sophisticated five-layer defence system, as well as unmanned platforms (UAVs, USVs, and UUVs) and systems designed to counter autonomous threats and swarms of unmanned vehicles, is anticipated to attract significant interest.
On the Greek side, the Ministry of National Defence, the General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA), the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, the Hellenic Police, the Fire Brigade, the Coast Guard, and the Ministry of Development are all actively participating in the exhibition.
DEFEA 2025 will showcase for the first time cutting-edge weapon systems and artificial intelligence applications.
