Government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis on Friday inaugurated an alternative briefing for ordinary members of the public via Istagram, answering questions on government policy asked by citizens from every part of the country.
Marinakis replied to questions on tackling the housing shortage, security and financial support for working parents, as well as pensioners and people with disabilities, as well as more technical questions relating to the Greece-Cyprus-Israel power cable and Chevron's presence in Greece. He also did not hesitate to answer more "alternative" questions on issues such as his height, his favourite television series and favourite Eurovision contestant.
The aim of this informal Q&A was to allow citizens to ask questions about the issues that concern their daily lives and receive informed answers on as many issues as possible.
