PASOK leader Androulakis asks for permanent, institutional, structural solutions

"We are seeing a pattern of market impunity, high cost of living, inequality, 'passes' and benefits. We do not disagree with all benefits. In many cases, there must also be this political choice. However, we would argue that structural issues cannot be addressed in this way, neither in rents, nor in health, nor in education, nor in prices," main opposition PASOK-Movement for Change leader Nikos Androulakis said in an interview with SKAI TV on Wednesday.
He added: "We want permanent, institutional, structural solutions. Because in essence, they have huge surpluses due to overtaxation, high prices and indirect taxes and then they give a very small part of the surpluses through the 'passes'. This political choice is ineffective and was even denounced by Mitsotakis a few years ago."
