Defense Min Dendias speaks of 'Agenda 2030' plan for Armed Forces in Euro2day.gr article

Greece is implementing the largest reform of its Armed Forces, 'Agenda 2030', ensuring it can respond to modern challenges of all types, National Defense Minister Nikos Dendias said in a special issue of Euro2day.gr, "Turning Points - Global Agenda 2025", which also includes opinion articles contributed by the New York Times.

In the article published earlier in April, the minister spoke of the efforts to develop the Greek defense ecosystem and reduce the country's dependence of imports of technologically advanced systems that could be produced in Greece.

The new defense plan, Dendias said, will relate "not just to a practical challenge of Greece's sovereignty and sovereign rights, but also to any threats that endanger the well-being of citizens - such as cyberattacks against critical state infrastructure - or their safety during phenomena of natural catastrophes, that are growing more frequent due to the climate crisis."
