PM Mitsotakis posts on social media about his initiatives for renters, low-income pensioners

The economic incentives for tenants and low-income pensioners announced today are related to the economy's overperformance, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Facebook on Tuesday, following his earlier announcements.

"The state budget data for 2024 register a significant overperformance of the Greek economy and a surplus in public funds. Something that means that - with efforts by all - we did much better than we expected," the prime minister noted.

He added, "Today we are announcing initiatives worth 1.1 billion euros to support incomes, in effect within 2025. Because the goal of this government is that collective progress gradually turns into individual prosperity."
