PM Mitsotakis on Easter's message: Through pain and hardship, to light and hope

Easter, Orthodoxy's greatest feast, "always reminds us that light and hope arise at the end through pain, difficulties, hardship, and adversity," Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis noted on Holy Saturday in his message for Easter.
He said that Greeks in Greece and abroad "celebrate this day and wishes that feelings of kindness, feelings of solidarity, and feelings of hope rise out of our souls. Our homeland, as the entire world, is facing great difficulties. But we can all overcome them together, through a spirit of self-confidence and unity."
In wishing a good Easter, the premier called on citizens to "celebrate Easter Sunday with loved ones, forgetting briefly the difficulties and adversity," realizing instead the message of the Holy Week in order to see our personal future and that of Greece with greater optimism and self-confidence.
