NOTICE TO SUBSCRIBERS: Due to a 24-hour strike called by the Panhellenic Federation of Journalists' Unions  (POESY) and its member unions, Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA) will not be sending news stories between 05:00 in the morning on Tuesday (April 8) and 05:00 in the morning on Wednesday (April 9).

Unions are calling for "the lifting of obstacles to the signing of a unified collective work agreement for national media, on institutional and financial terms." The demands include a higher entry-level salary of 1,250 euros, a reinstitution of the 13th and 14th salaries in national media, and of the same for pensioners.

The strike will affect the English and French language subscribers' online service, the websites and the midday and evening Bulletins.
