Over 200 top professionals in the Greek and international sectors of tourism are meeting at Zappeion Hall on Monday and Tuesday (April 7-8) for the 'This is Athens-Agora' B2B event by the This is Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The event's purpose is to boost the Greek capital's standing as a leading destination for leisure travel, conventions travel, and professional meetings.
At this year's 10th anniversary event, formerly called Travel Trade Athens, over 120 representatives of tourism enterprises are expected to attend, with another 100 representatives of tourism from 25 countries. It is the first time that China and India will be sending representatives. Over 2,500 B2B events have been scheduled.
Works on the first day of the convention were opened by Athens Mayor Haris Doukas. He also participated in the discussion 'Athens Forward: Collaborative Visioning for a Sustainable Future', which was followed by a press conference.
