Sakellaridis: Rise of Greek exports in March 'a small feat', given global turmoil

Greek exports rose in March 2025 to 3.09 billion euros over 2.92 billion euros in March 2024 - a 5.8% rise despite the global turmoil, honorary president of the Panhellenic Exporters Association Christina Sakellaridis told Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA).

Specifically, as Sakellaridis noted, "In an unprecedented environment of disorder, wars (Ukraine, Israel, Palestine, Hamas), fall of authoritarian regimes (Syria), high prices in energy, raw materials, and inflation, not only did our exports not fall, but they rose, something that truly comprises a 'small feat' and proves that our products, with their quality and competitive prices, have become established abroad. In March 2025, our exports reached 3.09 billion euros over 2.92 billion euros in March 2024, that is, we had a 5.8% increase. Let us hope they will also remain unscathed in the new turmoil."
