Passenger traffic at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport rose 10.8% in March, reaching 2.22 million passengers.
According to data from the Athens International Airport, both domestic and international passenger traffic exceeded 2024 levels by 2.1% and 14.4%, respectively.
During the first three months of 2025, the airport's traffic reached 5.81 million passengers, recording an increase of 11.4%. Passenger traffic, both domestic and international, increased by 3.1% and 15%, respectively.
Flights increased by 9.3% in the first three months of this year, compared to 2024.
The number of flights at Athens International Airport amounted to 50,651 during the first three months of the year, recording an increase of 9.3% compared to 2024. Domestic flights experienced a minimal decrease of 0.5%, while international flights rose by 16.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2024.
