Mitsotakis: No one can benefit from a generalized trade "war"

The message that the government will fight to ensure that "the Greek economy remains unaffected to the best possible extent from this new serious turmoil in the global economy" and that it "remains firmly committed to the principles of free trade, and will actively participate in co-shaping the unified European response to the new reality" was sent by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in his weekly review of the government's work in a post on social media on Sunday.
Mitsotakis reiterated that "no one can benefit from a generalized trade war."
In addition, the prime minister referred to the 12-year armament program totaling 25 billion euros, stressing that "these investments are a choice of responsibility towards the country and commitment to the duty of defending our national interests."
It proves the government's timeless support for the women and men of the Armed Forces, as he characterized it, and reiterated that "our support for the Armed Forces is timeless, as is that for all Security Forces. And this will be clearly reflected in the decisions to be presented at this year's TIF. We support - with calculation and sensitivity - society as a whole, but also each individual population group."
