Tsoukalas urges the government to pay the April pension earlier

"Why does the government not support the citizens who are suffering from the high cost of living?" main opposition PASOK-Movement for Change spokesperson, Kostas Tsoukalas, wondered in an interview on MEGA TV on Saturday.
He added: "Why is the government not planning to grant an allowance for Easter this year amid so many inequalities?"
Tsoukalas also called on the government to give the April pension earlier so that pensioners can celebrate Easter.
Referring to the issue of purchasing power and high prices, Tsoukalas stated that "Eurostat published a study for 2024 that shows that Greece continues to be second to last in purchasing power in the EU, surpassing only Bulgaria, which, however, has made leaps in recent years."
