Athens Chamber of Commerce and Shenzhen's FSC launch strategic cooperation for stronger business ties

The Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Federation of Shenzhen Commerce (FSC) on Friday, aiming at the strengthening of trade and economic cooperation between Greek and Chinese businesses, during a meeting of ACCI president Ioannis Bratakos with Lin Hui and Chloe Ku, the FSC's President and Vice President, respectively.
The Memorandum of Understanding provides for the systematic exchange of information on the market and regulations, the organisation of business missions and the provision of mutual support at trade fairs and other events, with the aim of increasing trade exchanges and expanding economic and industrial cooperation between businesses in the two regions.
This cooperation is expected to create significant opportunities for Greek businesses, leveraging the dynamic and technological leadership of Shenzhen, a leading economic zone in China. Known for its technological innovation, the city is the center of the Chinese technology industry and has developed into a global leader in the electronics and IT sector, while operating as a special economic zone, attracting foreign investment and innovative businesses from around the world.
