Parliament lifts immunity of PASOK, Nea Aristera deputies over defamation suits

Greek Parliament lifted immunity for two deputies on Thursday defamation suits with other deputies.
Parliamentary immunity for PASOK Deputy Panagiotis Doudounis was lifted with 226 votes for and 37 against and for Nea Aristera Deputy Ozgur Ferhat with 227 votes for and 36 against.
Both deputies have requested and supported the lifting of their immunity so their cases may be tried at regular courts.
