"In 2025, we aim to fully utilise every financial and investment tool at our disposal from European and national resources, for the benefit of society and the economy," Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanassis, said on Wednesday at an event organised by the Hellenic Development Bank (HDB).

During the event, business representatives had the opportunity to be informed in detail about current actions, available financial tools and the specific opportunities.

Papathanasis stated: "A key priority of the government is to support and strengthen entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on women, small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurship with an export and innovative character. In this direction, the Hellenic Development Bank and the Hellenic Development Investment Bank, in cooperation with institutional interlocutors of the state, such as the chambers, including the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, constitute important factors in the effort to fill the investment gap created by the crisis, to accelerate the sustainable development and dynamic perspective of the country. In 2025, we aim to fully utilise every financial and investment tool that we have at our disposal from European and national resources, for the benefit of society and the economy."
