'Rebrain Greece' event has large turnout in London, says Labor Min Kerameus

Over 1,300 Greeks working in London and 26 companies active in Greece offering high-level jobs attended the third consecutive extroversion action "Rebrain Greece" held in London on Saturday by the Labor & Social Insurance Ministry.
The object was to connect highly specialized Greek professionals living abroad with companies active in Greece seeking to fill upper managerial positions. The purpose is to encourage Greek professionals who left Greece during the economic crisis to return.
Addressing the event, Labor & Social Insurance Minister Niki Kerameus described the improved labor market in Greece and the economic and labor conditions that have improved.
"The great response in today's event, as in the previous ones held in Amsterdam and Dusseldorf, show in the clearest way possible that the Greek labor market is now directly competitive compared to other important European countries," Kerameus said after the event. "We are showing [those who left] in practice how the Greece they left behind bears no relation to the present Greece," she noted.
During the event, interested professionals were able to attend job interviews, be updated on professional prospects in Greece, and review the possibility of returning and contributing to the productivity network of the country.
Also attending the event were Deputy Minsiter Konstantinos Karagounis, Secretary General for Labor Relations Nikos Milapidis, Greek Ambassador to London Yannis Tsaousis, and General Director of Labor Relations, Health, Insurance, and Labor Inclusion Konstantinos Agrapidas.
