The Ministry of Education's application, through which users can listen to entire literary books, has had tens of thousands of downloads. At the same time, there have been hundreds of thousands of book reproductions.

In more detail, according to a relevant post by the Minister of Education, Sofia Zacharaki, by Wednesday morning, the application had had more than 37,000 downloads and tens of thousands of book downloads, with reproductions reaching 117,000.

According to the post, the application has also been warmly welcomed by the Greek diaspora.

"The eVivlio application has been launched and is already being widely used," the minister said, adding: "Based on the initiative of Kyriakos Pierrakakis, we are committed to continuously enriching it (ed. the application), while at the same time, literary books will soon be received by primary school students for study, assignments and a wonderful opportunity for creative writing. And nowadays it is more important than ever that they come into contact with books and what they offer."
