PM Mitsotakis' social media post on higher minimum wage as of April 1

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, commenting on raising the minimum wage as of April 1 that he announced earlier, said the following in a social media post on Wednesday:
"The minimum wage will rise to 880 euros as of April 1. This is the fifth consecutive raise of the minimum wage we are implementing since we assumed power in Greece in 2019, when it was at 650 euros. Our campaign commitment still holds: a minimum wage of 950 euros in 2027 and an average wage of 1,500 euros.
"This measure relates to 575,000 workers in the private sector, but also affects another 600,000 employees in the public sector. And, obviously, it also relates to anyone receiving birth, marriage, and unemployment bonuses, while it also benefits three-year payscale salary raises and therefore the average salary as well."
