Sanders Group expands its presence in Greece and proceeds with its listing on the Athens Stock Exchange

The Danish company Sanders Group, which operates in the short-term accommodation sector in many European markets, has announced its intention to list its shares on the Athens Stock Exchange. According to the company’s announcement, the relevant studies and preparations have already been assigned to specialized agencies, with the aim of formulating a proposal for its public listing on the Greek capital market.
According to Sanders Group, this decision is part of a broader development strategy, which includes strengthening its presence in the Greek market and expanding its real estate portfolio. The company already has more than 500 apartments in Greece and Cyprus, while it also operates in countries such as Denmark, Spain, Portugal and Bulgaria. As part of its expansion plans, the goal is to increase the number of accommodations offered to more than 2,000 within the next two years.
Sanders Group operates with an innovative property management model that combines elements of the hotel experience with the philosophy of short-term rental. The company leases properties with long-term contracts, proceeds with high-standard renovations with a Scandinavian aesthetic and manages them through proprietary technological tools. In this way, it achieves the provision of uniformly decorated and fully equipped apartments, which are intended for short-term stays in selected locations.
Sanders Group is strategically positioned between four- and five-star hotels, in terms of services offered, and short-term rental platforms, such as Airbnb, in terms of pricing. At a time when the short-term rental market is facing challenges, Sanders differentiates itself by being based on a more stable business model, which is not solely dependent on individual property owners.
