Alternate Transport Min Kyranakis visits Thessaloniki electrical bus facilities

Transportation goals for Thessaloniki's buses in the near future include a complete renewal of the fleet, hiring more drivers, and implementing a unified ticket for both buses and the metro, Alternate Transportation Minister Konstantinos Kyranakis told national broadcaster ERT on Monday.
Kyranakis made the statements during his visit to the Thessaloniki Urban Transportation Organization (OASTh) headquarters, where he specifically visited the charging station for electric buses, as well as OASTh's bus depot in Stavroupolis. He travelled to the northern capital by train from Athens.
The minister also spoke with Organization President and CEO Kostas Tagiris and other officials on issues related to urban transportation. He also praised the agency for their work after the incorporation of electrical buses to the fleet.
