Mitsotakis: There are no impenetrable zones; legality everywhere

"There are no impenetrable zones. Legality everywhere," was the message sent by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in his weekly review on Sunday, referring to the dismantling of a ring in the Rhodes Urban Planning Department.
It is reminded that police on the island of Rhodes has dismantled a big urban planning corruption ring, including high-ranking employees of the local Urban Planning Department, accused of demanding bribes for the issue of urban planning permits, bypassing regulations, facilitating illegal construction, and forging documents.
In his weekly review on Facebook, the prime minister referred, among other things, to the European White Paper and the plan to strengthen European defense.
More specifically, he said that the White Paper, the EU's plan to strengthen its defense armor and autonomy, includes permanent Greek positions, which will now become EU policies. "I am referring to the possibility of giving budgetary flexibility to member states, so that they can increase their investments in defense, but also to the creation of a common European fund of 150 billion euros to finance part of these expenses."
Special mention was made of the digital application eVivlio, which initially includes 20 literary works.
Finally, he emphasized the European Commission's positive recommendation to the Greek request for the disbursement of the 5th tranche from the Recovery Fund, amounting to 3.1 billion euros, and noted that of the 36 billion euros allocated to our country, the amount will reach 21.3 billion euros, which corresponds to almost 60% of the programme.
