Papastergiou to ANA-MPA: Greece is at a turning point in 2025; focused on its digital transformation

Greece is at a turning point in 2025 focused on its digital transformation, Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, said in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA).
This effort is not limited to isolated actions, but constitutes a holistic approach that affects key areas of citizens’ lives, he underlined.
Papastergiou placed special emphasis on the health sector, where the new electronic file promises complete organization of medical data and improved access to information, but also on Justice, where the digitization of case files, the remote examination of witnesses and other developments create a faster and more efficient system. He pointed out that the improvement of road safety is sought through the installation of a new network of cameras and a modern electronic system for recording violations, through the Gov.gr Wallet, which is constantly upgraded with new functions, while he pointed out that the integration of the citizen's account in the digital wallet will facilitate access to information and services.
