A light earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was recorded at 05:47 on Friday in the sea region 14 km south-southwest of Arkesini Amorgos, according to Athens National Observatory's Geodynamics Institute.
A tremor of exactly the same magnitude was recorded in the same area on Sunday.
However, the so-called seismicity rate is showing a decline, after the intense seismic sequence that occurred in February, especially in Santorini and the wider region, as scientists observe.
