Hellenic Train to increase services on historic Pelion line between March 21-28

Hellenic Train on Thursday announced an increase in the number of services on the narrow-gauge Pelion line from Volos to the mountain village of Milies next week, due to an expected increase in passenger traffic as a result of the March 25 national holiday. It will also be increasing the number of seats on the Athens-Thessaloniki intercity train routes on March 21 and March 25.
In its announcement, the company said that the Pelion Train lines 3800 and 3801, in addition to the customary weekend services, will also carry out additional routes on Friday, March 21, on Monday, March 24, on Tuesday, March 25, and on Friday, March 28. On the above dates, the 3800 train will depart from Ano Lechonia at 10:00 and return from Milies at 15:00 as the 3801 service, with an intermediate stop for 15 minutes at Ano Gatzea in both directions.
