The National Economy and Finance Ministry said the technical issue that interrupted the Athens Stock Exchange on Monday was due to increased traffic and has been resolved.

According to the ministry, a special tech force will review digital capacities and assume the upgrade of all systems of the ministry and its supervised bodies.

The Athens Stock Exchange session was suspended at 14:41, resuming at 17:20. Closing prices were determined on a weighted average basis, per the provisions of the ATHEX Operating Regulations and the relevant Decision 22.
