Skertsos: We are here to listen to society and respond to its fair demands

"Personally, I am committed to a path of transformation for the country. We know that we have a state that angers us, that hurts us." Furthermore, "we went through a debt crisis, political and social division, we almost left the Eurozone" and, ultimately, "our democracy was at risk at some point, but we emerged victorious", State Minister Akis Skertsos said in an interview with SKAI TV on Saturday.
On Friday, however, the country received an upgrade from Moody's, therefore, the Minister of State stated, "after 15 years of significant and collective struggles, Greece is no longer in doubt regarding its creditworthiness, regarding the position it holds in international markets to be able to borrow but also to attract investments and grow the 'pie' of prosperity for all citizens."

While as a general observation, he assured that "we are here to listen to society, to respond to its fair demands, to fix this state". And, at another point he said that "the prime minister is in constant dialogue with society and the government does not have closed ears. We are always open to fair criticism".
