The carnival events in Patras culminate on Saturday and Sunday. Over 55,000 carnival participants from 165 teams will flood the streets in festive costumes. On Saturday afternoon, the floats of the Municipality of Patras and the teams of the "Hidden Treasure" will parade. On Sunday, the grand carnival parade will begin at 2:00 PM and be broadcast live on ERT 2. The closing ceremony will take place at 9:00 PM at the Saint Nicholas Mole in the northern harbour, featuring the symbolic burning of the carnival king, symbolising rebirth and hope.
