Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni met with the outgoing US Ambassador to Greece George Tsunis on Wednesday. According to a statement by the Ministry of Culture, Mendoni thanked Tsunis for their fruitful, as she said, cooperation. 

According to the same statement, a typical example of the constructive cooperation between Mendoni and Tsunis is the organization of an international conference in Athens to combat antiquities theft, which will be held in the autumn, in cooperation with the US Embassy in Greece.
