Greek jewellery exhibition and other events with GNTO support in January

An exhibition showcasing Greek jewellery in Athens, a fashion show of Greek traditional clothes in Paris, as well as cultural events with an international impact, are taking place in January under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), as part of the organisation’s consistent support for initiatives that highlight and promote Greece's diverse tourist product (luxury tourism, cultural tourism, etc.) around the world.
More specifically, from January 9 to January 12, the exhibition "A jewel made in Greece" will be held at the Zappeion Mansion, as part of the 11th meeting of jewellery creators of the eponymous platform. More than 60 Greek designers will participate and present their creations inspired by the glamour and magic of the Oscars, with the theme "Red Carpet."
At the same time, the organisers will present the third version of the artistic tribute, entitled "A Jewel for the Caryatid," in which Greek designers design jewellery dedicated to this famous sculptural form of ancient Greek art. On January 23, the fashion show "Inspirations a la mode Grece - France" will be held in a central Paris hotel, which will focus on the promotion of Greek traditional fashion. In the first section of the show, the mannequins will parade wearing representative Greek traditional costumes from the historical collection of the Greek Dance Theatre "Dora Stratou", while in the second section, French graduates of the famous French fashion school LISAA Mode Paris will present a modern collection of clothes that they will have created inspired by traditional Greek costumes, with the three top creations being awarded by a prestigious committee.
