The official operation of SAFE.YOUth, a panic button app designed to help young people quickly report violence, was launched on Monday by Citizen Protection Ministry and Hellenic Police on Monday evening at the Athens Conservatory.

At the presentation, Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chryssochoidis said, "Our decision is to protect the safety of children, especially in spaces where they gather to play. For parents to feel their children are safe. We will not leave any child unprotected. With the push of a button we will be present to save children under threat."
