Renowned composer Mimis Plessas laid to rest in Athens

Mimis Plessas was laid to rest on Wednesday at the First Cemetery of Athens. The composer, musician and pianist  who passed away on October 5, at the age of 100, had his body placed at the cemetery earlier in the morning. A large crowd gathered to pay their final respects to the legendary artist.
Among those who spoke in honor of Plessas were Giorgos Hatzinasios, Kostas Makedonas and Antonis Remos. His wife Loukila Carrer Plessa, offered a final farewell.
