After covering the Tempi train collision area with earth "and every proof of the accident there, the government moved to speedily wrap up the works if of the parliament's investigative committee for the Tempi crime," SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Dora Avgeri said on Tuesday.

In a taped message, Avgeri referred to the committee that wrapped up its work, condemning it for what she said was refusing to summon key witnesses and to question accident investigators appointed by the state and the victims' relatives, to present key evidence from the investigating magistrate that could clarify the government's liabilities, and to send the testimony of former transportation minister Kostas Ach. "Whatever the government does, it should know that the truth will show up sooner or later by justice and along with it the massive government responsibilities for the Tempi crime," she added.
