The third vice president of the Greek parliament Athanassios Bouras announced to the the plenary on Wednesday the statement declaring the official formation of the 11-member parliamentary group New Left (Nea Aristera), signed by its parliamentary group president Alexis Charitsis.
Charitsis also announced that he has appointed Peti Perka as the secretary of the new group, while Euclid Tsakalotos and Nassos Iliopoulos will be its parliamentary spokespersons.
He also appointed Perka as his representative to the parliament presidents conference.
