The preparations for Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis' visit to Ankara next week continue, diplomatic sources said on Saturday. Two broad meetings were held last week chaired by Gerapetritis in the presence of top officials of the ministry.
The first focused on the Confidence Building Measures between Greece and Turkiye. The chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff Konstantinos Floros made the relevant briefing.
The second referred to the so-called 'positive agenda', namely the cooperation of the two countries in sectors as the economy, the protection of the environment and the climate crisis, the infrastructures and transport, diplomatic sources said.
