A total of 118 fire-damaged buildings classed unsafe after inspections in Attica, Corinth and Rhodes

Following the completion of inspections by climate crisis and civil protection ministry teams to record damage to buildings from the recent fires, 112 buildings in the regions of Attica and Corinth were classed as unsafe, 102 were judged temporarily unfit for use until repairs are completed, while 130 were considered fit for use and needing minor repairs, the ministry announced on Wednesday.
Meanwhile the main phase of the inspections in the areas plagued by the wildfires on Rhodes was completed.
A total of six buildings were classed as unsafe for use after the completion of 45 inspections, 22 were deemed temporarily unfit for use until repairs are carried out and 17 were considered fit for use and in need of minor repairs.
