According to government sources, the picture presented by the fires on Tuesday morning was as follows:

- The picture in Kouvara-Keratea was better. Problems persisted north of Kalyvia. There was no active front in the areas of Lagonisi, Saronida, Anavyssos, Kouvaras. There were small fires in Feriza and Kalyvia. Ground forces had been reinforced and continued to operate in the area.

- The picture in Loutraki was improved, while there was an active section north of Kallithea.

- There were still active fronts in Dervenochoria, in spite of the intervention of water-bombing aircraft.

- In Kaparelli, Boeotia, the fire has been contained and forces remain on hand to deal with possible rekindlings.
