Androulakis highlights PASOK's tax relief policy during Sitia tour

PASOK-KINAL leader Nikos Androulakis said his party will offer tax relief to the middle class, to workers and to the country's poorest, in statements  while on tour in Sitia, Crete, after visiting the monastery of Toplou on Friday.

Pasok's tax policy, he noted, would differentiate between a family with two children and one without any, "to deal with the demographic problem," he noted, while it would reduce wage workers' social insurance contributions.

Over the last two years, he said, the New Democracy government took in more than five billion euros in indirect taxes, VAT and special consumption taxes.

Androulakis will also speak at the Sitia cultural multicentre at 20:00 on Friday evening.
