Greece successfully auctions 10-year and 15-year bonds

An auction of 10-year and 15-year bonds by the Public Debt Management Authority on Wednesday attracted strong investment interest. The Greek state raised 400 million euros from the auctions, while bids reached 2.187 billion euros.

The interest rate of the 10-year bond was set a 3.98%, down from a coupon of 4.25% of the initial bond issue in January 24, 2023, while the 15-year bond yield was set a 4.14%. The Greek state has raised 6.7 billion euros from bond auctions so far this year, very close to the 7.0 billion euros target for the year. In 2022, the Greek state borrowing programme was 8.3 billion euros.
